Manassas, VA, December 11, 2024 – The Prince William Society for Human Resource Management (PWSHRM) made a significant impact this holiday season by collecting new clothing to support children in need through the local nonprofit, Boxes of Basics. The clothing drive was part of PWSHRM’s annual holiday social, where members came together not only to celebrate the season but also to make a meaningful difference in their community.
Boxes of Basics, a Manassas-based organization, provides essential clothing to children facing economic hardships. They work to ensure that local children have access to seasonally appropriate clothing, shoes, and accessories, promoting comfort and dignity for families in need. The clothing collected by PWSHRM will be sorted, packed, and distributed to children through Boxes of Basics’ personalized care boxes, helping to brighten the holidays for many families in the Prince William County area.
