In this interactive webinar session, Dr. Gabriel will examine the importance of developing intercultural competencies as a crucial skill-set in today’s global workplace. Attendees will identify ways to become more interculturally competent and more effective in working with people of all cultures and walks of life.
Participants will:
1. Learn about intercultural competency (Definition, Benefits & Challenges)
2. Understand why Intercultural competency is critical in today’s global workplace
3. Learn about the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) leading tool to assess IC
4. Discuss differences in forms of communication styles (verbal and non-verbal communication)
5. Explore action strategies to Improve IC skills
