If you’re seeking opportunities to get involved with your HR community, the HR Virginia State Council has several openings! Volunteering is a great way to give back while building leadership skills and learning bast practices from fellow HR professionals. There are several positions available with State Council, and if you are interested in getting involved on the local level, most chapters have equivalent roles locally.
State council roles usually involve a commitment of two to three years and attendance in quarterly meetings, which alternate between virtual and in-person settings.
Job descriptions for all volunteer roles are available on the HR Virginia website and if you are interested in learning more about available roles with the HR Virginia State Council at this time, please email president@hrvirginia.org and/or vicepresident@hrvirginia.org.
If you are interested in serving in some capacity with your local chapter, please contact their Volunteer Leader Director or Chapter President and they’ll be able to assist you appropriately.
